It is a pleasure to welcome the Absa Cape Epic back to Cape Town.

This world-class event sees nearly 50 countries around the world represented.

This is the ultimate endurance test for mountain bike enthusiasts and professional mountain bikers, with steep and rough terrain forming part of the eight-day route.

It is another example of the range that Cape Town offers, catering for every visitor and local - from conferences, to expos, to the relaxing recharge and the full throttle for the adventure-seeker.

The Absa Cape Epic cycles in a significantly positive economic impact for the metro and province, while also raising money for charitable causes.

We hope you will take time out before and after the race to explore and enjoy some of our city’s spectacular sites and attractions.

Cape Town is ready to welcome you and show off its mountain bike trails and cyclist-friendly infrastructure.
